付费主题Omni Wordpress Theme

来自Bryan Hauer的一款付费Wordpress主题出炉——Omni。很以往国外付费主题不同，这次的主题模板相对来说简单了点，没有什么花俏的东西，同样也少了份惊喜。从演示站点看来，模板首页第一个映入眼帘的就是一个TAB（和我右边SIDEBAR那个差不多），右边SIDEBAR处预留了Youtube和Flickr的控件，其他没什么特色了，一款普通的三栏模板。要我说的话，价格应该在50美金以下或更低才能获得好的销量。

我的想法和HACK WORDPRESS所说的一样，WP付费模板市场需要更多网页设计者的加入，需要更多New Idea的灌入，只有这样，消费者最终才能在设计者相互竞争中获得更好的产品——Wordpress 主题模板。

再回到这款主题，我有个疑问，因为现在用笔记本没有IE6，所以不知道这款主题LOGO显示是否正常。因为这款模板似乎用了PNG格式的透明图片来做LOGO，如果这样的话，那么在IE6下就无法正确显示其的透明性，主题适用度就受到影响了。那么这79.99美金的价格就要大打折扣了。（P.S.刚换了台电脑，用IE6证实了我的推断）

总的来说，这款模板当前的价格不具有购买价值，某些图片细节方面还需要加工一下，特别是圆角的地方。如果他售价下调到和TIRAMISU PRO一样的话，那我建议大家可以动下荷包了^.^

I understood when I developed the Omni Themes that .png images would not show up on IE6, but made the decision that very few people in the US or even abroad still use ie6 and honestly don’t care if people using ie6 can’t see png images… basically I took the approach that people should get with the standards and if you’re still using an extremely old version of ie you should upgrade to Firefox or Safari or at least at the minimum upgrade to the latest ie.

At one point I used to design for everyone, but at some point you have to make a stand and say… “get with the times”. I’m sure as hell not going to design themes for people living in the middle ages.

The themes are xhtml compliant, widget ready, WordPress 2.5 compatible and are extremely easy to modify even with the slightest bit of html knowledge.

I hope you enjoy the themes and at least take a look at some of the most innovative WordPress themes on the net.
